Birdhouse Farmers Market

My name is Kendall, and I am the owner/operator of September Sun Produce, a one-acre vegetable CSA and market farm in Orange, Co. We hope to grow our CSA program this year and expand our marketing to Richmond. My farming mentor is Chuck Geyer of Agriberry, and before starting September Sun, I worked with Chuck year round for 4 years at the Charlottesville market. Thus, it was easy to partner with Chuck this past year and add vegetables to the Charlottesville Agriberry stand. I have a substantial community in Richmond, as does our incoming employee Dan Able, who are eager to support the CSA and farm. I’d be interested in hosting the CSA pick up at Birdhouse, as well as vending produce and eggs.
