It's bold, peppery and delicious, field grown. Leaf size will be small to medium. Excellent source of Vitamins A & C, folic acid, calcium, manganese and magnesium. A good source of riboflavin, potassium, copper, iron and zinc. In olden times, monks were not allowed to grow it in monastery gardens due to belief it is an aphrodisiac.
