We wild forage our elderflower from a native stand on the farm. It will come to you in clusters of flowers on short stems. Elderflower is used to flavor the Saint Germain liqueur. It is purported to be effective for swollen sinuses (sinusitis), colds, flu, bronchitis, diabetes, and constipation. It is also used to increase urine production (as a diuretic), to increase sweating (as a diaphoretic), and to stop bleeding. You can make tea with it or flavor simple syrup or vinegar with it.
